Camp Maas Arts and Crafts Center

Tamarack Camps, Ortonville, Michigan

The new Arts and Crafts Center (6,000 s.f.) embraces the shore of Tamarack Lake and provides a wonderful open, free flowing, and exciting venue for the camp’s arts program. This facility can accommodate nearly 80 campers and counselors in diverse programming, including painting, jewelry, drawing, sculpture, enameling, crafts, and also props design and construction for performances that are presented across the drive at the amphitheater. The project is the result of a collaboration of campers, camp staff and counselors, camper parent and Arik Green Design, and Brandstetter Carroll, Inc. Total project budget was $500,000.00.
