University of Kentucky Federal Credit Union Operations Center

Lexington, Kentucky

Brandstetter Carroll Inc. was hired to assist the Credit Union in evaluating best uses for a ten acre site in the Hamburg Development of Lexington. The desire was to develop a corporate campus feel with visitor and staff parking, walking trail, outdoor seating, and dining areas and passive spaces.

The site evaluation process included examining topography and water courses, utilities, future and adjacent land uses and properties. A Planning and Zoning Minor Amendment was required. BCI lead the Client through the process.

Several concepts were derived once programming was completed. The development of this facility will allow the Credit Union to consolidate three locations into one. All vehicular needs were considered as well as pedestrian safety for the site.

The project recently broke ground and will be complete in Summer 2017.
