Wayne County Emergency Operations Center

BCI was contracted to design an Emergency Operations and NextGen 911 Call Center for the Wayne County Commission.  The Center is located in the intersection of Memorial Drive & Hendricks Street in Wayne, West Virginia.  The project is a new one story building approximately 5,870 s.f. with hardened and non-hardened areas including a call center, conference and meeting spaces, and break and shower facilities. This facility has state-of-the-art equipment, advanced infrastructure for current and future growth.

The infrastructure will also allow for future technology upgrades without hindrances to the County. The facility has a fully functioning Emergency Operation Center that City and County and the State of West Virginia can utilize during a catastrophic event. Further, the building was designed and constructed to meet and comply with all NENA and Department of Homeland Security Standards. The facility was also designed and constructed to meet the Motorola R56 Grounding Standards.
