American Legion Pool

BCI was engaged with the city of Elizabethtown in early 2014 to begin replacing the current American Legion Park pool which was built in the nineteen-sixties. The new facility offers a large activity pool with a zero depth entry, a combination speed and loop water slide, a basketball goal, a climbing wall, and a activity structure with a large dumping bucket. The pool also includes a 6 inch water shelf for relaxing. In addition to the pool, the facility includes a lazy river and a spray pad. The spray pad was provided to service patrons of the park and is designed to be utilized before and after the pool season months. To support all of these amenities a pool house was constructed which houses the admissions, lifeguard break room, managers office, the pump and filtration room, and a rentable party room.

Juniper Hill Park Aquatic Center

The new Juniper Hill Family Aquatic Center boasts a wide of array features to attract not only local patrons but people from the surrounding counties. Two 25’ tall water slides will be the main focal point with an additional ADA accessible family slide.  The ADA accessible family slide will be the first of its kind in the area and enhances the experience for any patron with a disability.  The facility also offers an activity pool with a zero depth beach, and a large water play structure.  Competition swimming, exercise and swim lessons will take place in the adjacent 25 meter pool lap pool.  This pool also features a climbing wall, and diving boards.  A 450’ lazy river tops off the experience with water sprays.

Ginty Pool

Morris Township, New Jersey is a doughnut shaped community which surrounds the City of Morristown. The delivery of recreational services is a challenge due to the traffic congestion in the area as well as the sometimes undefined jurisdictions of the city. As a result, Township citizens have enjoyed two “Community Pools” for over 30 years. Both existing pools were well maintained and resembled private sector facilities. The community did not want a Family Aquatic Center in the traditional sense and knew BCI had considerable success with the Princeton, New Jersey Community Pool.  This led Morris Township to renovate these pools on the Princeton model.
