Brandstetter Carroll Inc. has been involved in the grant assistance and planning for this airport facility since 1992. To date, funds have been obtained to complete the airport’s first Airport Layout Plan, the removal of a variety of runway obstructions, as well as grant funds for the runway overlay. Recent capital improvement projects include taxiway paving, main ramp rehabilitation, PAPI relocation, runway lighting system replacement, and installation of REIL lighting. The main ramp has been overlaid in several phases and a new taxiway was extended to the south ramp expansion. The Runway Safety Area and a storm drainage project were completed in 2012. This included paving of a portion of the runway.
